What it’s all about: Five Sentence Fiction is about packing a powerful punch in a tiny fist. Each week I will post a one word inspiration, then anyone wishing to participate will write a five sentence story based on the prompt word. The word does not have to appear in your five sentences, just use it for direction.
This week: CLANDESTINE
The staccato beat of heels on wood accompanied the tattoo thumping in her chest. Pip looked up from her desk as the danger passed by, she had to be sure she wasn't being watched. Time crawled as she carefully pulled up her sleeve uncovering pale clammy skin. She rotated her arm, facing her palm to the ceiling, to reveal notations in black water-proof ink. She smiled to herself: the exam was in the bag!
